About Us

21th Annual Tatting Days and Workshop
May 4-7, 2017

Theme: A Flurry of Flakes

The 2017 Workshop has come and gone and the new venue at Ross Point Conference Center was a big hit. We hope to see you all again in 2018.

We are pleased to announce our 2017 Tatting Workshop. There are quite a few changes for our 21st year, so please read through the information.

New Venue
Our workshop will be at Ross Point Camp and Conference Center, 820 S. Ross Point Rd. Post Falls, ID 83854. Ross Point is located 1 mile south of I-90 at Exit 7, along the Spokane River and only 34 miles from the Spokane International Airport. The facilities are beautiful and restful with large gathering rooms for vending and non-class time and also provide plenty of recreational activity for our non-tatting guests.

New Dates
Our dates are May 4-7, 2017 (Thursday evening through Sunday breakfast), depending on the registration option you choose. The workshop classes will remain on Friday and Saturday. Please note: This is Bloomsday weekend.

New Lodging Information:
Ross Point has lodging on site in motel style rooms that can accommodate up to 82 overnight guests. Each room has 2 or 3 twin beds. There are also 6-7 RV sties available. Please note: Because this is Bloomsday weekend, hotel/motel rooms will be scarce from Spokane WA to Coeur d'Alene ID. If you choose to find offsite lodging, it is recommended that you make your reservations as early in January as possible. We are unable to provide a list of recommended accommodations this year.

New Schedule:
We have more class time. There will now be 3 classes each day, one in the morning (90 min.), and two in the afternoon (2 hrs ea.). There will be social time in the evenings. The vending room will also be open on Thursday and Friday evenings.

Other Changes:
We have eliminated the following: tat-off, retro tat-off, and the 'take something / leave something' table.
New this year are a poker run and shuttle making demonstration. Participation in both activities is voluntary, just let us know if you are interested in taking part on your registration form.

T-Shirts and Tote Bags
The shirts this year are navy blue with white snowflakes on the front. They are available in two styles - unisex and ladies cut - and sizes small to 5XL. Prices are the same as last year.
New this year: a tote bag. The bag is made from 10-ounce, 100% cotton twill with cotton web handles. It measures a generous 15.5"h x 13"w x 7"d. The color is navy blue.
